Andrew Boss
Andrew Boss is a long time community banker. He is currently board chair of the recently chartered Drake Bank on the West Side of St. Paul, as well as director of the Pine City Bank in Pine City, Minn. He formerly was CEO of St. Anthony Park Bank of St. Paul from 1971.
Boss is also involved in other businesses in commercial real estate and manufacturing and has been engaged as a volunteer in numerous community activities over the years. He serves as commissioner of the St. Paul Port Authority; chair of the Public Housing Agency of St. Paul; current president of the Rotary Club of St. Paul; past-chair of Friends of the St. Paul Public Library; past-chair of the Minnesota Humanities Commission; past-chair of Metropolitan State University Foundation; and director and treasurer of Children's Home Society and Family Services. Boss currently serves on the board of the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Jerome Foundation, and the Ramsey County Historical Society.
Boss holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Minnesota and attended the Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University. Governor Arne H. Carlson appointed him to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees in 1998 for a six-year term that expired on June 30, 2004.
