Robert O. Erickson

Robert O. Erickson lives in Bloomington, Minnesota and is retired. He most recently retired in 2002 from Starkey Labs where he was the senior vice president of finance. He had previously retired in 1995 as senior vice president for finance and operations at the University of Minnesota. A certified public accountant, he previously held senior positions at Supervalu Stores, including vice president-corporate strategic planning, treasurer and vice president-market development.
Mr. Erickson served as chair of the Bloomington Port Authority during negotiations with the Mall of America and was appointed by Governor Arne H. Carlson to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees for a six year term that ended in 2002.
He currently serves as chair of the board for the Tubman Family Alliance and chair of the Bloomington Port Authority. Mr. Erickson is a board member on the Bloomington School District Long Range Financial Planning Advisory Committee, Bloomington Education Foundation Board of Directors, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Foundation, Hennepin Technical College Foundation, University of Minnesota Office of Continuous Improvement Advisory Committee, Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault Board of Directors, and the Parks and Trails Council Board of Directors. He also serves on several private company boards.
He holds a M.S. in Accounting and Finance and a B.A. in Economics, both from the University of Minnesota.
